SCHOOL-BASED apprentices and trainees: This information is not applicable to school-based apprentices and trainees - please contact your school to discuss travel and accommodation subsidies.

The Department of Education, Training and Employment provides a travel and accommodation subsidy for apprentices and trainees who are required to travel at least 100kms return to attend training in relation to their apprenticeship or traineeship.

How do I apply?
There are a couple of ways to apply for the travel and accommodation subsidy, including via Travel and Accommodation Online. Training organisations wishing to become involved in the online system should visit this page for more information.

Registered training organisations and Travel and Accommodation Online
Registered training organisations who have not yet come on board with Travel and Accommodation Online, and who have apprentices and trainees who may claim their travel/accommodation subsidy online, must register.
