About us

Apprenticeships Info was established in 2007 by the Department of Education, Training and Employment. Our aim is to provide a valuable 'one stop' contact for queries in relation to the Queensland apprenticeship and traineeship system.

We provide free advice, referrals and support to all Queenslanders about apprenticeships, traineeships and training options. We also act as a link to the Training Queensland district offices by referring enquiries and workplace issues to your local office for further assistance and support.

Apprenticeships Info - Self Service

Apprenticeships Info - Self Service (AISS) is a search facility developed by Apprenticeships Info for use by stakeholders who sign apprentices and trainees up in Queensland. AISS provides contractual information on current and previous contracts for apprentices and trainees.

Contact us

Phone, email and web services have been established making it easy for prospective and current parties of apprenticeships and traineeships to obtain information at any time. Apprenticeships Info - Self Service has also been implemented. This search facility provides previous history of Queensland apprentice and trainee contracts to stakeholders of the apprenticeship and traineeship system.

The Apprenticeships Info service is committed to providing a high standard of easily accessible customer service via phone, web and email. Our commitment to customer service is outlined in our Customer Service Charter (PDF, 64KB).

Complaints relating to a training contract

Employers, apprentices, trainees, parents/guardians and other persons with sufficient interest may lodge a complaint with DETE relating to their training contract. Visit ATIS-002 Complaint about or appeal against a decision information sheet for more information and to find out how.
